A Casa das Artes de Vila Nova de Famalicão programou para abril o segundo capítulo de “Poética da Palavra”, uma proposta artística que pretende destilar a essência do Teatro: o texto, a palavra, a voz, o trabalho de ator.
De 4 a 12 de abril, o Capítulo 2 vai abrir-se ao público com um fluxo de ação teatral que almeja criar cumplicidades duradouras entre a plateia do deleite cultural e o palco que fabrica na carne dos protagonistas esse prazer milenar que é o Teatro.
A “Poética da Palavra” é, assim, um dos principais capítulos da programação primaveril deste teatro municipal que propõe cinco projetos: STAND DOWN, uma criação e interpretação de Ángel Fragua a partir de dois contos de Félix Albo; O ANJO de Henry Naylor, com interpretação de Teresa Arcanjo; ODE MARÍTIMA de Álvaro de Campos, com interpretação de Pedro Lamares; VIDA E OBRA DE UM HOMEM MAIS OU MENOS APRESENTÁVEL, com texto e encenação de Pedro Galiza e com interpretação de Daniel Silva; PEÇA PARA DUAS PERSONAGENS, de Tennessee Williams, com Encenação de Ivo Alexandre e interpretação de Anabela Faustino e Ivo Alexandre, numa coprodução da Casa das Artes de Vila Nova de Famalicão, Teatro municipal de Bragança e a Companhia Ninguém.
Pretende a Casa das Artes destacar a interpretação, a relação entre técnica, sentimento íntimo e subjetivo de convicção criadora e a consolidação da personagem, como um processo indissociável de um exigente trabalho pessoal, que é físico e de estudo profundo e inesgotável.
No final da cada apresentação, abre-se o tempo para uma conversa com os atores que protagonizam cada projeto teatral, no sentido de o público poder conhecer o trabalho, concreto, sobre o texto, a palavra e a sua relação com o corpo (que lhe dá voz), e o processo de construção de cada personagem.

“Stand Down” não é “up”, é outra coisa. São as memorias de um homem, as reais e as outras. São as lembranças de infância com os olhos de agora. São os primeiros silêncios, que viram falar mais alto do que as mais sonoras palavras. Uma viagem no palco entre Espanha e Portugal, numa miscelânea de sentimentos conduzida pelo ator Ángel Fragua. Partindo de dois contos de Félix Albo, “Secretos de Familia” e “Un Roble en un Cementerio”, Ángel mostra-nos neste “Stand Down” porque razão morrer de amor pode ser só o inicio de uma estória. Porque “Stand Down” é a vida ali à espreita e o riso, por vezes, do avesso.

Há uma rapariga na Síria conhecida por “Anjo”. É Rehana. Tem 19 anos, estuda direito e é filha de pais agricultores. Rehana vive em Kobane - uma pequena cidade da Síria junto à Turquia - que um dia é invadida pelo ISIS. Rehana foge para a fronteira com a intenção de chegar à Turquia, mas a memória do pai que ficou para trás, é mais forte. Rehana volta para Kobane e vai à procura do pai. Nessa altura, é capturada pelo ISIS e vendida como escrava sexual. Rehana consegue fugir e unir-se ao YPJ - Unidades Femininas de Proteção. A vida vertiginosa acelera: torna-se franco-atiradora, mata 100 invasores e passa a ser temida pelo Estado Islâmico, cujos membros acreditam que quem é morto por uma mulher não consegue entrar no paraíso e ter direito às setenta e duas virgens, no outro mundo. Rehana é uma rapariga, o “anjo” de Kobane. Uma história narrada por Rehana, que conta a sua história autobiográfica diretamente ao público, através da 'quarta parede'.

Este não será, definitivamente, um bom homem com uma boa consciência. Não será, também, um mau homem com uma boa consciência. Porém, decretá-lo um mau homem com uma má consciência será, talvez, um exagero. A meio caminho, como em tudo na sua vida. A meio caminho. A metro e meio, dir-se-á a certa altura. Estica-se o passado, recua-se até uma avó moribunda, imagina-se o futuro e vê-se... o quê? Uma montanha gelada. Cinzenta. Entretanto, sobra-lhe o aqui e o agora, os dias empilhados e achatados e siameses, o trabalho, ou antes, o emprego, igual ao primeiro, mas sem o bálsamo dignificante de que o outro se reveste, as avaliações semanais, semanais!, as pequenas violências, o silêncio atafulhado de insultos disparados em todas as direções e, à porta da loja, uma fotografia. De quem?

Peça Para Duas Personagens (The Two-Character Play ou Out Cry) foi considerada por Tennessee Williams a sua melhor e mais autobiográfica obra depois de Um Elétrico Chamado Desejo. Talvez pelo seu estilo minimalista, experimental e por se distanciar das peças realistas do seu reportório, não foi bem acolhida aquando da sua estreia (1973) e, desde então, é umas das peças menos conhecidas. É uma obra poética, metafórica, onde realidade e ilusão se confundem num universo caótico. Os irmãos Clare e Felice são dois atores que, depois de despedidos pela companhia de teatro onde trabalhavam, refugiam-se num teatro abandonado, onde apresentarão uma peça escrita por Felice.
