A questão foi colocada pela famosa Sophia, ela própria um robô, numa das últimas Web Summit assustou meio mundo e deixou outro meio em estado de alerta: "Vamos roubar os vossos empregos!", atirou Sophia. Venha, ou não, a cumprir-se a profecia de Sophia, uma coisa é certa: o ritmo acelerado em que viaja a Inteligência Artificial está - e continuará - a provocar sérias alterações no mundo e nas relações de trabalho, tal qual as conhecíamos até há bem pouco tempo.
É para debater justamente as questões que se encontram a montante e a jusante deste aparente "admirável mundo novo" que o Município de Vila Nova de Famalicão e o Jornal de Notícias organizam no próximo dia 29 de outubro o Fórum Económico Famalicão Made IN sobre o tema “As Pessoas como Valor Acrescentado”.
O Presidente do Conselho Económico e Social, António Correia de Campos, o Presidente da CIP- Confederação Empresarial de Portugal, António Saraiva, o Sociólogo Moisés Martins, e o Secretário Geral da UGT, Carlos Silva, são algumas das personalidades que vão procurar responder à pergunta sobre se é este o combate laboral mais forte do século em que vivemos e se sim, como podemos garantir, nesta nova conjuntura, emprego de qualidade. A este painel de especialistas juntam-se os empresários famalicenses Carlos Vieira de Castro e Tiago Freitas, administradores da Vieira de Castro e Porminho, respetivamente.
O Fórum Económico acontece no terceiro município mais exportador do país e um dos que tem revelado uma malha industrial em constante crescimento, nomeadamente ao nível da indústria 4.0. “É num contexto onde a qualidade dos recursos humanos sempre foram a grande mais valia do território e a razão primeira para a atração de empresas que os desafios da automação ganham uma dimensão de desafio acrescido para os empresários e para o concelho”, refere o Presidente da Câmara Municipal, Paulo Cunha, a propósito da pertinência da realização do evento em Vila Nova de Famalicão.
