From 15 October to 15 November, the students residing in the municipality of Vila Nova de Famalicão, aged 30 or under, will be able to submit applications for scholarships promoted by the Municipality of Famalicão.
To apply, students in higher education, technological specialisation courses (CET) or technical and higher professional courses (CTeSP) must have lived in the municipality for more than three years and must be attending their first bachelor's degree, first master's degree, first CET or first CTeSP, regardless of the educational establishment (public or private).
Applicants must belong to a household whose monthly per capita income does not exceed 60% of the national minimum wage in force and may not have movable assets worth more than 240 x IAS (€125,400) on 31 December of the year prior to the start of the academic year.
Interested parties must also provide a set of documents, such as a certificate of household composition, proof of enrolment, IRS or IRC tax return, salary statement, among others. The list of documents required to submit an application is available on the Famalicão Youth Portal (www.juventudefamalicao.org), where there is also a file explaining how all the documentation can be obtained.

It should be noted that in the last academic year, the Municipality of Famalicão awarded 409 scholarships, representing an investment of over €235,000. The local authority has been providing this support for over ten years.
