Castro – Vinhos de Portugal

Castro was born from the family’s passion to create unique, singular and differentiated wines. Besides a wine producing company, it is a place that offers countless experiences.
Constant growth and market demands, driven by their passion for the world of winemaking and agriculture, led to the creation of the project for a winery capable of gathering all the favourable conditions for wine production.
They produce fresh wines, acidulous due to the minerals present, with light and fruity aromas, obtained through the grape varieties Alvarinho, Loureiro, Arinto, Verdelho, Espadeiro, Padeiro de Basto, Vinhão, Trajadura, Blendy, Chardonnay and Avesso.

Adega Casa da Torre

Casa da Torre’s wine project began in 1977 with the purchase of the property by Manuel de Sousa Lopes, a bud industrialist from Northern of Portugal.
In the early 1980s, the planting of 5 hectares of vineyards began, as well as the restoration of the existent winery, being baptised as “Adega Casa da Torre”. It is here that the grapes from the family’s properties are vinified, giving birth to the Quinta do Cruzeiro Wine – Loureiro, Arinto, Trajadura and the Sousa Lopes Minho Regional Wine– Loureiro, Chardonnay.
The image that appears on the labels is Pinheiro Manso - Pinus Pinea. The founder, to celebrate the birth of his first daughter, planted this tree on 31st March 1932.

Casal de Ventozela

Casal de Ventozela is a family company dedicated to the production of Vinhos Verdes since 1983. Its mission is clear: to reveal the best of the terroir of the Vinho Verdes region through the production of wines from traditional grape varieties and with a strong focus on single varietal wines.
The wines have young and fresh profile, which can be adapted to different drinking occasions. They are characterised by their aromatic expression, lightness and balance, obtained through Loureiro, Arinto, Trajadura, Espadeiro, Fernão Pires, Padeiro de Basto and Vinhão grape varieties.
The freshness of these wines is combined to the aesthetics of the label that invites a journey to the traditions of Northern region of Portugal. The illustrations that feature as the centrepiece suggest references to the elaborate motifs of filigree, the Minho costume and tiles.
