The 2025 edition of the Famalicão Handicraft and Gastronomy Fair already has a date set: it will take place from 29 August to 7 September.
The event, known for the quality and diversity of its artisans and gastronomic producers, welcomes thousands of visitors every year who come to the city centre to experience national knowledge and flavours up close.
In total, the 40th Famalicão Handicraft and Gastronomy Fair will feature nearly a hundred stands with local and national artisans and producers, many of them working and cooking live.
The doors open on Friday, 29 August, at 18h00, at Praça Mouzinho de Albuquerque, where the entire event will take place. Inside the venue, you will find handicrafts and gastronomic delicacies ranging from embroidery to traditional basketry, convent sweets and liqueurs, designed by artisans and producers from all over the country.
This year, the event will once again feature a vast cultural programme marked by performances by artists and groups from Famalicão and across the country.

The admission is free. In 2024, around 140,000 people visited the Fair. The programme and schedule for the event can be found at www.famalicao.pt.
