During the month of July, products labelled ‘Made IN Famalicão - Product that is Ours’ will be highlighted in two shopping centres in Vila Nova de Famalicão, with the aim of promoting and enhancing local production.
The first action kicks off this Friday, 4 July, and runs until the 16th, at the E. Leclerc in Famalicão, where a central promotional island will be set up with a diverse range of fresh products, cheeses, smoked meats, wines, liqueurs and sweets. The campaign continues at Bandeirinha Supermarket from 18 to 31 July.
The initiative is part of the Programme to Encourage the Consumption of Local and Endogenous Products, which aims to boost Famalicense's agri-food sector, stimulate the local economy and create new marketing opportunities for the municipality's producers.
It should be remembered that the ‘Famalicão Made IN - Product that is Ours’ label recognises and distinguishes agricultural products that meet the quality, authenticity and origin criteria defined in the programme's regulations, contributing to the enhancement of endogenous production in the region.
Espomorango, Famaberries, Naturconvívio, Fumeiro do Fernando, Lactilouro - Dom Villas, Senras Dairy, Pão-de-Ló Burguês, Sim Chocolate, Vieira de Castro, BASLOP - Sousa Lopes, Casa de Compostela, Casal de Ventozela, Frutivinhos, Vinhos Castro and Minikiwi Farm are the Famalicão producers featured in the initiative.
