The municipality is inviting the people of Famalicão to sponsor the initiative and receive a ‘Letter to Father Christmas’ from one of the children, revealing the gift they would like to receive — a gift that their sponsors will try to fulfil.

This is the fourth consecutive year that the initiative, part of the ‘Partilhar+’ charity project, has been organised by the municipality and the Social Solidarity Department of Famalicão Municipal Council.

Famalicão residents can sponsor this Christmas Wish by registering on the famalicaomais.pt website until 27 November.

The presents will be delivered on 21 December (Sunday), with Father Christmas distributing the presents to the children at a charity and cultural event to be held in the Municipal Market Square.

It should be noted that in 2024, the Christmas wishes of around 200 children with proven economic hardship and residence in the municipality, identified by the municipality's Social Assistance and Support Service, were fulfilled.
