More than 1,200 ninth-grade students will visit Famalicão IN HUB, in Vale São Cosme, between 10 and 12 March to plan their academic and professional future at the Famalicão Secondary Education Fair. For three days, the former CIIES will be transformed into a large guidance and experimentation centre with the aim of helping young people from Famalicão to explore all the educational opportunities available in the municipality for the next cycle of studies.
This year, the fair brings together 13 educational institutions offering a range of 39 courses, divided into four scientific-humanistic courses and 35 professional courses, covering areas ranging from Arts and Design to Metalworking Technologies, IT, Health and Management Support.
One of the new features this year is the direct collaboration of several companies in promoting activities that will provide students with practical contact with the reality of the job market and different fields of activity. Through interactive spaces, games and challenges, students will have the opportunity to clarify doubts about curriculum plans and career opportunities.
“This fair acts as a window to the future, offering real tools for young people to make informed decisions that are in line with their ambitions. The aim is to ensure that Famalicense talent continues to be the driving force behind our region's development,” says the Mayor, Mário Passos, who will visit the event on 10 March, starting at 2 pm.
