Applications are now open for the mini-internship programme promoted by the Municipality of Vila Nova de Famalicão, as part of the Valoriza-Te project. The initiative is aimed at 9th grade students enrolled in educational establishments in the Local Education and Training Network and takes place during the Easter school holidays.
The mini-internships last two days and take place during the school break from 30 March to 10 April.
The initiative aims to provide students from Famalicão with direct contact with the business context of the municipality, namely the partner companies of the Local Education and Training Network of Vila Nova de Famalicão, in a vocational exploration in a business context that allows young people to get to know the different professional areas up close and thus contribute to their choice of future profession.
Those interested can submit their application between 19 and 29 January by filling in the online form available on the Famalicão Educativo portal at www.famalicaoeducativo.pt/_miniestagios_2026. In addition to this document, it is also mandatory to submit the Term of Responsibility and Health Form available on this page.
Applications will be ranked in order of receipt and are limited to 100 places, according to the distribution defined for each of the ten educational establishments covered by the programme.
These mini-internships, promoted by the Famalicão local authority through the Local Education and Training Network, aim to enhance the development of integrated skills in the different areas of activity covered by the initiative, ranging from the performing arts to social work, including agri-food, construction, the textile industry, the chemical industry, accounting, pharmaceutical sciences and tourism, among others.
