The Caixa de Imagens Association is exhibiting the winning photographs from the 12th edition of the annual Famalicão Photo Marathon photography competition, which aims to welcome and challenge photographers, both amateur and professional, to discover and capture the essence of this city.
The exhibition is made up of 28 photographs alluding to the city's defining themes: its people, details, art, culture, leisure and nature.
The winner of the 2024 edition was: Alexandre Francisco Resende Santos, from Vila da Feira; 2nd place went to: Bruno Ismael da Silva Alves, from Póvoa de Lanhoso and 3rd place went to: Rui Pedro Brites de Sousa, from Estoril.
Honourable mentions went to Rui Neto; Carlos Ferreira; Fernando Santos and Miguel Santos.
