"The thread of words" is intended to be an intimate creation with a very personal vocal content, while retaining its intrinsic circus dimension, in the areas of balance and diabolo. The musical pieces are chosen to invite the audience into the artist's textual and visual universe. Declarations of love for the objects, places and people in his life, sometimes light-hearted, sometimes profound, universal questions. Nico Pires, a Portuguese-French artist, travels between his love of the new circus (diabolo, balance) and writing poetry. Self-taught and professional since 2009, Nico has worked with 7 Fingers, Cirque du Soleil, and has created several shows (Fil ou Face, Diabolo is a trip), et al.
