The exhibition "The Guimarães Line: from Trofa to Fafe" aims to take visitors on a historical and heritage retrospective of the section of the Guimarães Line between Trofa and Fafe. This photographic and documentary exhibition, spread over 9 panels, reveals the origins of this railway line, the development of rail transport and its impact on the surrounding area.

Benefiting from a privileged geographical position, the Ave Valley, where an industrial component of great importance in the national economy emerged, the Guimarães Line, which at the time was narrow gauge, enabled the transhipment of people and goods and made a decisive contribution to local socio-economic development, the most characteristic transformations of which can be seen in this exhibition.
