The collection is closely linked to the artist's personal history, a transformative work of mourning that came about to remember and eternalise her grandmother, who was a regular presence in her childhood and a reference point for her life. She, the queen of all flowers, was passionate about her garden, talked to them and cared for them with great love. The colours bloom on the canvases, forming veritable explosions of spring. In the abundance and mixture of colours, I want to convey the feeling of joy, an intrinsic characteristic of my grandmother and essential to life!
