Miramar, the project of guitarists Frankie Chavez and Peixe, is back with its second full-length, Miramar II. In Miramar (2019), Frankie Chavez and Peixe presented a proposal for instrumental dialogue that, despite its originality and freshness, nevertheless evoked a certain dramatic sobriety rooted in the tradition of Portuguese guitar music. Conceived and recorded in the middle of the confinement, the themes of Miramar II both refer to echoes of the best Portuguese popular music of the last century and take us on a journey through the desert landscapes of Texas.
