The singer Helena Fernandes tells that she was born and grew up between Vila Nova de Famalicão and a couple of television channels (finalist of the IDOLOS II and CANTA COMIGO (tvi)) that opened the doors to the fulfilment of an unfinished dream. The intimate sound of the piano gave the motto for the search of the true meaning of the timbre of the notes sung by Helena Fernandes. Demonstrating the restlessness in the definition of a unique musical style, the career of this singer is based on an invariable search for new sounds, new types of musicality that manage to make all the human senses vibrate, leading her to join the Oporto Jazz School. Currently accompanied by Vila Jazz (Torcato Regufe - bass; Koen Esch - foreword; Paulo Vatayan - piano) she takes each theme as if it were her own, attributing to the old musical glories, the ideal harmony for intimate and remarkable musical moments.
