Get the Blessing brings together some of the biggest names in jazz-rock, members of world-famous bands such as drummer Clive Deamer (Radiohead, Portishead, Robert Plant), bassist Jim Barr (Portishead, Perfume Genius), trumpeter Pete Judge (John Parish / This is the Kit) and saxophonist Jake McMurchie (Portishead, Massive Attack). This group has already won considerable prizes, such as the BBC Jazz Awards for their album ‘All is Yes’ (2008). Formed in 1999, this group of jazz-rock disruptors from Bristol present their seventh studio album, ‘Pallet’, in V.N. de Famalicão.
