Fernanda and the unexpected virtue of learning to fly
Sat 28 Feb
Casa das Artes programme

Casa das Artes | Small auditorium – 11h00 and 15h00

Admission: €6 for adults, free admission for children | Rating: M/3 | Running time: 45 min | Production: Mochos no Telhado

Fernanda is a seagull, unlike other seagulls, who is not content with short, repeated flights. Every day she tries a new jump, a new rhythm, a new flight. Every day she falls, but each fall is just the beginning of a new attempt. ‘Fly, fall, get up and try again.’
In this show, we accompany Fernanda in her discovery that persistence is a form of courage and that imagination is the fastest wing there is. Between games, turbulence and invented flights, children are invited to realise that flying is not just about being in the air, but also about believing, trying again and letting our heads and hearts take us further than we thought possible.
