DOCTORS OF SPACE began as a synthesiser duo, a creative encounter between DR SPACE (of the bands Øresund Space Colletive, Black Moon Circle) and guitars, bass and drums programmed by MARTIN WEAVER (Dark, Wicked Lady). The duo has presented music that tends to be almost entirely improvised, ranging from electronic space rock to some pieces based on looping synthesised drones and multiple layers of guitar. Since 2018, they have released several albums and taken part in festivals such as the Sonic Rock Solstice Festival or the prestigious Roadburn. As if in ritual, the musicians meet once a month to experiment and create new songs. At the end of 2022, Dr Weaver retired his guitar and the band entered a new era of sound exploration.
