AZURARA with Carlos Amaral
Thu 09 Nov
Festival BINNAR 2023 Festival (in collaboration with Cineclube de Joane)

Casa das Artes | Small Auditorium - 21h45

Still in its first public presentations, Azurara is a project that brings together Vítor Nuno Santos (Evols, Bildmeister) on vocals and guitar and Filipe Ferreira (Horselaughter) on guitar and programming. From a sparse instrumentation, slow and melancholic soundscapes are drawn in cinematographic evocations and they sing about disaffection, ruins and roads. For this edition of BINNAR they are performing in collaboration with filmmaker and teacher Carlos Amaral, who premiered his acclaimed feature film "Infinite Sea" in 2022 and will be responsible for the visual component of a almost-film, almost-concert.
