Somos Nós (It's Us) is an artistic creation by Aldara Bizarro that is part of the project Há Cultura | Culture for All, promoted by Vila Nova de Famalicão City Council and co-financed by the North 2020, through the European Social Fund (ESF). Somos Nós is a project developed with students from the D. Sancho I School Grouping and with a group of contemporary dance, video and music professionals, which aims to present the cultural diversity that exists at school, in order to broaden knowledge and to be able to enjoy the richness of what each person brings as something different. Based on the practice and transformation of traditional dances and the application of tools and techniques used in contemporary dance creation, a performance is developed in co-creation with the students, in which they are both dancers and creators, which seeks to promote harmony and enchantment with cultural diversity.
