Exhibition marking the centenary of the birth of Fernando Lemos, a key figure in 20th-century Portuguese art, whose work transcends geographical boundaries, artistic languages and fields of thought.
Bringing together exclusively photographs taken between 1949 and 1952, a decisive and formative period in his artistic career, produced in a short but intense interval of time, this exhibition presents one of the most unique collections of 20th-century Portuguese photography and a pivotal moment in the surrealist experience in Portugal.
