August is the month of the emigrants and the city of Vila Nova de Famalicão joins the party with the promotion of the products of the season, in particular the "Melão Casca de Carvalho" (oak peel melon) and the green wines from Famalicão. Promote, enhance and value these traditional products of our region, with the community of famalicenses, and especially with the emigrant community, which at this time of year is present in the county.
