GERMINAL brings together every year a group of national and international artists in this city, with interventions in training, audience development, crossing between the performing arts and civic and environmental awareness. An invitation to all famalicenses, to share the work developed by Cão Danado - Cultural Association throughout the year, to participate in its activities, debates and shows. Divided into two essential areas, training and presentation, the GERMINAL program starts with workshops for the whole family, we will plant, paint, dance and cook all together in our Meeting Point, where we can taste the delights of Cristina Carvalho and meet the new project of recycling materials This is Not The End.
During the afternoon, the Meeting Point starts with new videos from the installation Mapa de Afinidades and conversations with the artists about their work process. In a continuity with the GERMINAL programme from previous years, Cão Danado presents shows that were premiered in 2022 such as Resting On Your Voice, by Diana Sá. This year's Germinal Concert is in charge of Rui Lima, Sérgio Martins and Jorge Quintela, with the online release of the album made from the soundtrack of the show REPLAY, presented in 2021 at Casa das Artes.
