"Flying Paradise" includes a series of paintings and sculptures which mark the search for one's own identity.
The first works are a representation of the courage for change, but then follows the fear of instability, of the unknown. In time, fear turns into strength, and strength gives rise to certainty.
Finally, the wings spread out and I let the wind carry me away, until I felt only a serene soul. It was in a small village in Vila Nova de Famalicão that he took his first steps. Far from knowing what his future would be, he grew up in a rural environment where his days were spent playing.
While following his path, it was in the arts that he began to stand out, and little by little, this aptitude developed naturally. He began to explore other areas in order to make a decision about his professional future, and it was then that his direction changed, choosing to specialise in the fashion and textiles sector. Over the years, she felt she had to find her visual identity as an artist, and is currently building a project that takes her back to her path...the path of creative freedom.
