‘It's All True’ is an unfinished film by Orson Welles that presents three distinct narratives, filmed in South America. The film-concert will focus on one of them – ‘Four Men on a Raft’ – which tells the true story of four fishermen who travelled 1,600 miles along the Brazilian coast, from Ceará to Rio de Janeiro, on a raft to ask for help for their people. For the film, Orson Welles called on the four men, who had since become heroes, to play their respective roles in telling the story in which they were the protagonists. An accident during filming led to the death of the leader of this action, which, combined with the studios' financial problems, caused the project to be cancelled and become forever a ghost film that haunted Orson Welles.
