A signature dramatic story by Iranian Asghar Farhadi, the director of "A Separation" (2011) and "The Salesman" (2016), both winners of the Oscar for Best International Film. In competition at the Cannes Film Festival, "A Hero" received the Grand Prix, the festival's second most important award, after the Palme d'Or.
