Landim | Church of the Monastery of Santa Maria

The Cupertino de Miranda Foundation launched, in 2011, the International Festival of Portuguese Polyphony (FIPP) which is already part of its annual programme. Due to the conjuncture caused by the Covid-19 Pandemic, the FIPP suffered an interruption between 2020 and 2021. Thus, in 2022, we find ourselves in the tenth edition of the Festival, with the goals of promoting polyphonic music from the 16th and 17th centuries, and of divulging the history and architecture of the spaces through which it passes, with intrinsic links to the Baroque period. In Vila Nova de Famalicão, this year the concert will be held in the Church of the Monastery of Santa Maria de Landim.
