Ana was born in the small village of Rabo de Peixe, in São Miguel (Azores), a place dominated by traditions and also by a certain religious obscurantism. Feeling trapped, her big dream is to go to a place where she can be whoever she wants. A Terratreme production, a film by Cláudia Varejão Ama-San). In the words of the director, "Lobo e Cão" talks about "what it is to be young in a territory surrounded by the sea and, in these particular contexts, of quite a few economic and social difficulties", where the ambition of "reaching other places, other knowledge, to fulfil the dream, is more compromised". Shot with an entirely amateur cast in the village of Rabo de Peixe, this drama won the main prize in the "Giornate degli Autori" section at the Venice Film Festival.
