Five soloists come together to perform a gem of the classical repertoire - Franz Schubert's piano quintet Die Forelle (The Trout).
As part of its strategic partnership with the Famalicão Performing Arts Platform ‘SOBRE O PALCO’, in 2023, Casa das Artes de Famalicão began a co-production partnership with the Cidnay Vale do Ave Festival, promoted by FAMART - Artistic Platform, with the support of the Municipalities of Vila Nova de Famalicão and Santo Tirso. The Cidnay Vale do Ave Festival is an international artistic project promoting musical excellence, which brings together renowned masters and talented young musicians every year. Under the artistic direction of João Álvares Abreu, since 2021 it has attracted big names in classical music such as Mischa Maisky, Nobuko Imai, Eszter Haffner, Máté Szűcs, László Fenyő and Pedro Carneiro to the Vale do Ave. Now in its fifth edition, it features Noa Wildschut, João Barradas, Agostinho Sequeira, MAAT Saxophone Quartet, among several other musicians and groups.
