On 6 January 2026, Pope Leo XIV closed the Jubilee of Hope with the closing of the Holy Door, emphasising, however, the importance of continuing to be pilgrims of Hope. Christian hope is based on a deep trust in divine providence, oriented towards eternal good and lived through faith and charity, influencing the way we live and relate to each other. The exhibition at the Museum of Sacred Art of the Chapel of Lapa reminds us that those who came before us were beacons of Hope and invites believers and non-believers alike to walk towards a more fraternal and just world, a leaven of Hope for our common home.
