Cineclube de Joane programme
Small auditorium | 21h45
Admission: 4 euros. Free for members of the Cineclube de Joane | Original title: Chronique d'une Liaison Passagère (France, 2022) | Directed by: Emmanuel Mouret | Cast: Sandrine Kiberlain, Vincent Macaigne, Maxence Tual, Georgia Scalliet | Rating: M/12 | Running time: 100 min
One night, Charlotte (Sandrine Kiberlain) meets Simon (Vincent Macaigne). She is a single mother; he is married and the father of two daughters. Even though they know what they are doing is not the right thing, the two decide to escape the routine of their lives and meet just once to explore a moment of passion. However, against their own expectations, the pleasure they derive from each other's company (much more than the sexual involvement) is so gratifying that it becomes increasingly difficult to avoid further encounters. And this will create moral problems for which they were not prepared. Presented at the Cannes Film Festival, this romantic comedy is directed by Emmanuel Mouret, director of The Things We Say, The Things We Do.
