Vic, a young American with Russian origins, has a hard job: to give a ride to multiple people with multiple types of handicap. With his van, he rides the whole city of Milwaukee (USA), taking and bringing whoever depends on him to move. However, to deal with multiple personalities, contexts and incapacities is a hard working job, that sometimes, makes him give up. A semi-improved comedy with the signature of Russian-American Kirill Mikhanovsky ("Sonhos de Peixe", "Dubrovskiy") that took inspiration from his own youth, one of his first jobs.
Give Me Liberty is a American film directed by Kirill Mikhanovsky. The film had its premiere on the opening night of the Sundance Film Festival on 2019 and follows medical transport driver Vic as he shuttles his Russian grandfather and émigré friends to a funeral.
