Beatriz Fernandes, a young girl from Famalicão and a student at the University of Évora, took advantage of the opening of the new study rooms at the Famalicão Bus Station to prepare for the upcoming exam season.
"The space is quite large, you can come here with colleagues and share study ideas, and it is very well located", praised the higher education student who was one of the first to enjoy the new space dedicated to the study installed in the Bus Station of the municipality.
The equipment was officially inaugurated this Wednesday, 24 May, by the Mayor, Mário Passos, who was very pleased to see that the young people of the municipality did not waste any time.
"It is a properly equipped space, with comfort and time availability to meet the needs of high school and college students and to cope with the level of demand of these levels of study", said Mário Passos.
Located in the upper floor of the Bus Station, the new study rooms will be available for secondary and higher education students from Monday to Saturday, between 9am and 9pm. During the exam season, the space will be open until 11pm, and will be open on Sundays, between 10am and 7pm.
The two study rooms have a capacity for 130 seats, with a pantry area and toilets. The Bernardino Machado room is for individual study, while the Camilo Castelo Branco room will serve collective study and work.
"May these two illustrious figures of our county serve as inspiration to our young people", added the mayor of Famalicão.
To access the Study Rooms, students must simply fill in an application form available at the reception desk of the space or at the Youth House. After admission, the access is made with a personal and non-transferable user card.
