There are more than 1,200 places available at post-secondary and higher education institutions in Vila Nova de Famalicão for the 2025/2026 academic year.

The places are distributed across 7 master's degrees, 13 bachelor's degrees, 25 Higher Professional Technical Courses (CTeSP) and 11 Technological Specialisation Courses (CET), starting in September, on a full-time and part-time basis.

All of this training offered in the Famalicão area is provided by CESPU, the Polytechnic Institute of Cávado and Ave (IPCA), Lusíada University of Vila Nova de Famalicão, CITEVE, Forave Professional School, Cenfim - Professional Training Centre for the Metallurgical and Metalworking Industry, and the CIOR Professional School.

The deadline for submitting applications for the first phase is already underway and can be done online through the websites of the training entities themselves or in person at the offices of these institutions.

It should be remembered that the qualification of senior staff and the focus on knowledge, research, technological development and innovation are central and decisive for the municipality of Vila Nova de Famalicão.
