The artist Joana Vasconcelos, the president of the José Neves Foundation, Carlos Oliveira, and the Professor of Economics of the University of Minho, Fernando Alexandre, are some of the guests at the 4th Famalicão Economic Forum, a joint initiative of the Jornal de Notícias, TSF and the Municipality of Vila Nova de Famalicão, to be held on 25 October, at Casa das Artes, which will include a statement by the Executive Vice-Chairman of the European Commission, Frans Timmermans.
Added Value and Sustainability is the theme that will be on the table to open new perspectives for the future of national industry. Executive Raquel Vieira de Castro, the President of the José Neves Foundation, Carlos Oliveira, the director of CITEVE Braz Costa and executive João Koehler, are other influential personalities that will participate in the debate that will be closed by the Minister of Territorial Cohesion, Ana Abrunhosa.
The debate will focus on the challenges facing the economy and businesses, science, technology, innovation and the potential to transform Made IN into Created IN. The event is free of charge, but subject to mandatory registration until the room is full, or until October 24th.
