This weekend, the children of the parishes of Landim and Lousado in Famalicense were given new spaces to play and have fun outdoors.
Searas Park, in Landim, and the Loteamento da Mabor Park, in Lousado, now have new, modern equipment for the little ones' leisure time.
The mayor, Mário Passos, the mayors of the parishes of Lousado and Landim, as well as children, attended the inaugural session of the new spaces from Landim and Lousado who made a point of "testing" the new equipment.
"These are parks specifically for young people. A piece of public space where they can play outdoors, safely and comfortably. I'm sure they'll be the scene of many hours of good fun," commented the mayor.
It should be noted that the refurbishment of Searas Park involved a municipal investment of around 14,000 euros. In the Mabor Allotment, the municipality invested around 27,000 euros to install a children's playground and five picnic tables.
