The initiative's opening session is scheduled for 22 April at 15h00 at the Terras do Ave School Grouping, Pedome, and will be attended by the event's godmother, writer Mafalda Moutinho. One of the highlights of the Reading Week programme is the "Famalicão a Ler" (Famalicão Reading) initiative, which will take place on 17 March at 10.15am and invites the community of Famalicão to interrupt their work for a few minutes and enjoy a relaxed moment of reading, be it a book, a newspaper or a magazine.
