How many of us live in a Yellow House? It's time to go outside, where life is happening. Where the birds sing in the trees, the trees hug the sky, the sky sighs in the rivers, the rivers are drunk by the flowers, the flowers are smelt by the bees...
It's time to go outside, where life is happening.

Join us in this initiative! Let's make Famalicão READ!

Friday, March 17th
Creative Readings: The Generous Tree, by Shel Silverstein
This classic of children's literature allows a reflection on the human condition, through the unconditional love that a tree had for a boy. Both were growing, and this analogy between the tree's physical growth and the boy's growth demonstrates the intensity of emotions that surround the story.
Thus, we invite you to create an interaction with the readers by leaving "message sheets" alluding to the story.

Creative readings: The house of poetry, by José Jorge Letria
Riba de Ave Library | 10h30
Target public: pre-school and 1st cycle cycle | session booked at least 15 days in advance | 252 981 620
Did you know that, just like you, poetry has a home? It's not quite the same as yours, but it's equally warm and friendly. Inside, you will find verses that may or may not rhyme that can make you laugh or cry, with different sounds and many colours. Are you ready to open the door?

Territory House | 15h00
Audience: general | Free admission
This book relates the common worries of uncommon people. It relates my disquiet - reflections of everyday life, shared online, on social networks, during the COVID-19 pandemic.
In each theme, an illustration precedes the text and together they seek a completeness only achieved by the reader's own reflection in the search for knowledge. The images themselves are in themselves learning, training, sometimes through observation, sometimes through flashes of creation, in my solitude. It is thus an open book, which emerged by spontaneous generation; therefore, the epilogue, its ending, will be written by the individuality of each reader in the reality of common days.
