Parents' associations from the municipality of Vila Nova de Famalicão will be meeting in the centre of the city in another Vai à Vila' Urban Market. On the 20th and 21st of May, 17 Famalicão associations will be represented in this event that will take place on the first day from 10am to 8pm and on the second from 10am to 7pm.
The Parents' Associations Market is the result of a partnership between the Vila Nova de Famalicão City Hall and FECAPAF - Federação Concelhia das Associações de Pais e Encarregados de Educação de Vila Nova de Famalicão (Council Federation of Parents and Education Parents Associations of Vila Nova de Famalicão), which will be present in the event.
The initiative aims at giving visibility to the work developed by the parents' associations of the schools in the municipality of Famalicão, as well as raising funds, with the commercialization and sale of various articles, for the dynamics developed with the school community.
And because those who 'Vai à Vila' also like street animation, during the Parents' Market there will be ballroom dances by AJU - Associação Joanense Unidança, on Saturday morning, and on the following day, Sunday, by Os Delaenses, Associação Musical e Recreativa da freguesia de Delães, during the same period.
We remind you that the Urban Markets are part of the 'Vai à Vila!' initiative, a regular animation program of the city centre, which will fill practically every weekend until the end of the year, conciliating the new urban centre with an intense cultural and ludic dynamic.
