From Sebastian Bosse's intimate diary, published on the internet, Lars Norén has written an intense, cold and clinical text. Sebastian shot students and teachers at his former high school on 20 November 2006 before committing suicide. Hoping to be heard, he had left his diary on the Internet a few days earlier, in which he described his frustrations at school, the constant humiliations he had suffered from his classmates, his inability to make friends. This will be his last day at a school, which, he tells us, taught him that he was a loser. Intense, concrete, realistic and tragic text where the memory passes like shadows in the conscience exposes the mechanism of humiliation, the confusion of values, the fascination for war and for weapons, the feeling of exclusion and contempt experienced by the young man. The words of the young Sebastian Bosse reduced to their simplest expression are singular and excessive. The references to the youth and global culture of video games and the critical interpretation of western society find a need for a wider audience, an audience that is beyond the borders of his original language impelling him sometimes to speak in English - the global language - so that the whole world can understand him.
