The new edition of the Famalicão Municipal Bulletin is already being distributed. This summer, the issue has a new graphics and a new philosophy, which elevates the reading experience of this document that reflects the work developed by the municipality over the last few months.
"Transparency and permanent dialogue with Famalicenses. This is one of the commitments we have made since the first minute" emphasises Mário Passos, Mayor of Vila Nova de Famalicão, who explains that this document "is a municipal communication resource that aims to transport citizens to the reality of municipal management, providing them with information about the projects in hand and those completed, work that sometimes goes unnoticed by the citizen's eye".
In addition to the new graphic line, it should also be noted that there was an increase in the print run. "The change in graphics was also accompanied by a review of production and reinforcement of the print run, in order to reach more citizens and institutions, without increased costs", explains the mayor.
The Municipal Bulletin is a document with biannual production, which explains the work developed by the municipal executive, so that all citizens are aware of the projects and actions developed in the municipality.
The main theme turns to the recent distinction of Vila Nova de Famalicão as a European Entrepreneurial Region in 2024, awarded by the European Committee of the Regions last July.
On the subject, Mário Passos emphasises in the editorial that "it is an award that honours everyone" and that "results from the economic, social and institutional vitality of the municipality, and a consequence of our public policies".
In addition to this theme, the Bulletin also explores Famalicão's candidacy for European City of Sport 2025, the new Famalicão Bus Station, City Day, the Municipal Youth Plan, the artistic installations of Madalena Martins and Bordalo II in the city centre, the environmental protection and preservation actions underway, among other contents that reflect the priorities of the executive, from a perspective of enhancing the territory and publicising its people.
It should be noted that the Municipal Bulletin began to be distributed this week throughout the municipality, and is also available for collection at municipal points. Its consultation and reading can also be done digitally at: www.famalicao.pt/boletins-municipais .
