The best views of Christmas are to be found in Vila Nova de Famalicão, at a height of 30 meters, on the Ferris wheel with more than 100 seats, which this year promises to bring even more magic to the Christmas program promoted by the Town Hall.
From November 25 onwards, the municipality of Famalicão will once again be the "Place of Christmas", with an entertainment program designed for the whole family, concentrating in Praça D. Maria II, Praça 9 de Abril and Parque da Juventude the attractions that delight kids and adults every year.
In addition to the 118-seat Ferris wheel installed in Praça D. Maria II, Famalicenses and all those visiting the municipality this Christmas season will be able to count on the traditional train and carousel, a larger ice rink with 275 square meters of natural ice and the return of the INAC circus to Parque da Juventude, with a performance of "The boy and the letter carrier".
The "Place of Christmas" also has space for a Food Court, a Solidarity Hut with the presence of Santa Claus and suggestions from local artisans at the traditional Market.
The Multimedia Show, which in recent years has become one of the biggest attractions of Christmas in Famalicão, is also returning from the 25th.
A host of attractions to which is added a diverse and eclectic cultural and recreational program with various events that appeal to the people of Famalicão, such as the Famalicão Porto de Encontro and the Christmas concerts, especially the Communities in Choir shows, among other initiatives.
It should also be noted that, as in previous years, the municipality will be handing out free tickets to the INAC circus, carousel and train for pre-school, primary and secondary school children and tickets to the ice rink for secondary school pupils.
The Famalicão Christmas program is promoted by the municipality in partnership with ACIF - the Famalicão Commercial and Industrial Association, among other associations, institutions and companies in the municipality.
