Citizens who are interested in "sponsoring" this charity campaign, which is being held for the third year running, can sign up by emailing solidariedadesocial@famalicao.pt or contacting 252 320 940 or 252 320 900 until November 24.

Each child will be invited to write a letter to Father Christmas with a Christmas wish, which the godparents will try to fulfil.

The presents will be delivered to the children by Father Christmas, in a solidarity and cultural event that will take place on 17 December (Sunday), in the Praça - Mercado Municipal de Famalicão.

It should be remembered that "A Christmas Wish" is an initiative being held for the third year running, aimed at children aged 0 to 12 with proven economic need and living in the municipality, as part of the municipal project "Share +", developed by the Famalicão municipality through the Social Solidarity department.

In 2022, more than 300 people responded to the challenge launched by Vila Nova de Famalicão Town Hall to sponsor the Christmas wishes of 319 children.
