Tree adoption campaign returns to the Municipal Market Square

The tree adoption campaign, promoted by the Municipality of Famalicão, is returning to the Municipal Market Square on 22 March. The initiative will take place between 9am and 12pm and is open to the community.
Each resident of Famalicão can adopt up to three trees, from a total of 3,000 trees and shrubs of forest, fruit and aromatic species.
The tree adoption campaign is part of the municipal strategy to promote biodiversity, strengthen climate resilience and encourage sustainable lifestyles.
It should be noted that the Municipality is promoting the ‘100,000 trees for 2030’ project, reaffirming its commitment to a greener, more biodiverse territory that is prepared for present and future environmental challenges.
