"St Patrick Regional Secondary Choir" is a 47-member Chamber Choir and choir of the Diocese of Vancouver (Canada) from St Patrick Regional Secondary School. It has received high ratings for its appearances at regional, provincial and national festivals, including invitations to perform at Carnegie Hall and the United Nations. The Spirit Alive choral concert gala is held every spring at the Chan Centre for the Performing Arts featuring over one hundred singers drawn from the school's two senior choirs. The group became the first Canadian Chamber Choir and the first non-professional choral group to be invited to participate in 1999 in the Gold Festival at the Kennedy Centre for the Performing Arts in Washington D.C. They have since won awards at many events and festivals in cities across the United States such as San Francisco, Chicago, Salt Lake and New York. Besides performing in Canada and the USA, the choir has also travelled to Cuba, France, England and Portugal where they have performed in collaboration with choirs from other schools and with professional ensembles and renowned artists such as Doreen Rao, Anton Armstrong, Craig Jessop, Eph Ehly and Weston Noble.
