No Borders, A Thousand Smiles, by Madalena Magalhães
Until 17 Sep
National Railway Museum – Lousado Centre

Free entrance | Timetable: Tuesday from 10h00 to 13h00 and Thursday from 14h30 to 17h00

The aim is to show a little of the humanitarian work that is carried out between Lousado and Guinea Bissau. It all stems from the fulfilment of Jacinta's dream of going on a mission. The humanitarian bug has been running through the veins of the whole Magalhães family since Jacinta's first mission to Guinea-Bissau in 2010. The collection of goods has been a constant until today, permanently and with the same spirit of help. Endless days and hours are spent preparing all the humanitarian material which arrives at the family home in Lousado, which is then taken to the warehouses of the NGO "Viver 100 Fronteiras", to load containers bound for Africa, where the donations are always delivered by the NGO president, who shows us a little of the harsh reality in which the people live.
