New Municipal Council of Education takes office

The new Municipal Council of Education met last March 21, in the Municipal Assembly room, for the inauguration of the 34 members who constitute the body where are represented the public school groupings of the municipality, pedagogical councils, teaching staff, private educational establishments, parents and guardians, public institutions of social solidarity, Social Security, security forces, Municipal Youth Council and Parish Councils, as well as the Municipal Assembly and the City Council.
The Mayor, Mário Passos, who led the proceedings, attended the session. "The maintenance of the quality of education and qualification of famalicense citizens depends on the collaboration and interaction between all agents of the territory", stressed the mayor, who valued this partnership.
