Municipality promotes tree adoption

On March 23, the Municipality of Famalicão will mark International Forestry Day with another tree adoption campaign, which will take place between 10h00 and 13h00 in the Municipal Market Square.
The initiative is open to the Famalicão community, and each Famalicão resident can adopt up to three trees. A total of 4,000 trees and shrubs of forest, fruit and aromatic species will be available for adoption.
The municipality is promoting the ‘60,000 trees for 2030’ project. By the end of 2024, the municipality had planted and donated more than 42,000 trees.
