Agenda Municipal / Exhibitions Mário Cesariny: The Other Side of the Reflection
Until 16 Jul
Cupertino de Miranda Foundation | 10h00
Mário Cesariny, born on 9 August 1923, is the central figure of national surrealism, where his writing and plastic work had a fundamental prominence. Experimentation and cutting with the more academic practices elevated his work to a very particular existence, deserving prominence among his author/artist peers. Exhibiting photographs that portray his home, life and work is an opportunity to strengthen the knowledge of the man and the artist, who made History and Stories in Portugal. In this exhibition Duarte Belo and Eduardo Tomé, stand out for the number of possibilities that bring us, and that make us understand the irreverent personality of Mario Cesariny.
