Under the theme "New contributions to the Portuguese industrial history", the fourth Cycle of Conferences of the Ave Basin Textile Industry Museum (MITBA) takes place during the last quarter of 2022, with three sessions. Each of them with a guided tour to a site of heritage interest, at the end of the conference. Intended to present some of the most significant aspects of recent research in Portuguese heritage and industrial history, among the topics covered will be papers on the wool industry in Amarante, the industrial heritage of Barreiro, and the economic evolution and industrial heritage of the Algarve in the 19th-20th centuries. The sessions are open to the general public, requiring free prior registration. These conferences are certified as Short Term Action for teachers and registrations should be made at the Training Centre of Camilo Castelo Branco School, in Famalicão.
